Strong Showing for Girls Track

Varsity Girls take 2nd at South Coast League Finals!

Our girls Varsity track and field team turned in a solid effort at South Coast League Track And Field Finals to finish in a second place tie in league with El Toro. Medals and CIF were earned by three time South Coast League Champion Kylee Wehrly in the 100 meters, Alexa Munoz won league titles in both the long jump and triple jump, freshman Hanna Bevan won a league title in the high jump, Nicole Moeller in the 200 and 400 meters, Tyler-Leigh Gray in the long jump, and Camdyn Roberts and Niguel Ziegler in the pole vault. Also, both the 4X 100 meter relay team of Kylee Wehrly, Nicole Moeller, Tyler-Leigh Gray, and Allison Kantor, as well as the 4X 400 meter relay team of Bryanna DeVaney, Nicole Moeller, Sara Newsom, and Tyler-Leigh Gray earned a medal and CIF. Other medalists were Tyler-Leigh Gray in the 200, Michela DeLuca and Sophia Rathor in the triple jump, Haunani Pedro in the shot put, and freshman Kyleigh Wilkerson in the discus.

F/S Girls place 3rd!

Our girls FS Track And Field team finished in third place as a team, and here are the individual medalists at league finals: Alexis Park won league in the 3200 meters, Erica Jacobs captured a league title in the triple jump, Grace Duckens finished second in the 400 meters running a huge PR, and other medalists were kelly Laurean-Zapien in the 100 meter hurdles, Casey Anno in the 300 meter hurdles, Brooke Spencer in the Discus, Cynthia Styffe in the Long Jump, and Kelly Lauren-Zapien, Samantha Taylor, and Makayla Carcano in the Triple Jump. Also, our 4X 100 meter relay team of Cynthia Styffe, Kaitlin Handler, Reese Davidson, and Madeline Metzdorff finished second to also medal.
